Hello,
Is there a way to configure the Base DN for realm synchronization (with an MS AD domain) ?
We have a large AD domain with severel thousand objects and would like the sync jobs to not overload our domain controllers.
I saw there are...

My mistake, my reading of your initial post was you are using Proxmoxer to create a PVE template VM. It appears that these are two independent flows that you are trying.
The wrapper is only as good as the API request it creates. If it omits the...

FIX: Pre-allocate fixed iGPU memory using lgfs Gsm2 setting in BIOS
After some additional troubleshooting involving borrowed memory that worked perfectly without hangs (Kingston KVR56S46BS8-16 PC5 5600 CL46) I finally got the system stable using...
Thanks for the logs!
could you try booting with `pci=notph` added to the command-line (might have a detrimental effect on performance)
also - as most logs here (for the broadcom nics) look like the NICs are in a bond - which bond-mode is used...
Found a "workaround":

Don't know if it applies to this problem
That might be the issue. You would have to rename your image to .qcow2. In the future, it will be possible to select the format upon download. Patches are applied in git already, but not packaged yet.
Hallo,

Update on this - with the help of AI I was able to find a "workaround":
If I restore with the following changed parameters the system wont hang indefinitely:
echo none > /sys/block/sda/queue/scheduler
echo 0 > /sys/block/sda/queue/wbt_lat_usec...
Glad it helped, @ns33.
With U.2 and 100Gb, PCIe placement matters. On dual socket, keep your NVMe and the NIC carrying Ceph traffic on the same socket so I/O isn't crossing the inter-socket link. cat /sys/bus/pci/devices/<addr>/numa_node will...
I tried some things, apparently it helps to use the grub parameter
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet nosplash debug pcie_aspm=off"
It seems to be a bug with the energy saving of the kernel, the default drivers don't support this fast silence /...
