Moin,
I read that in the past E810 caused a lot of problems with hci proxmox cluster with ceph, but according with your list it seems that today you say that is reliable. It means that with proxmox 9.2 all the problems are solved?
Joining in with the following observations; over a year since last driver refresh, there have been driver updates but no binaries released until now. Upstream changelogs minimal to say the least. This is Not the fault of Proxmox team. We know...
Thank you for the fast reply. we will then move to NFS via VM instead.
Last question. Are normal linux guest VMs also affected when running on the ceph (RBD) storage?
No, as the kernel is too old.
BTW: i would not recommend mounting CephFS directly on workstations where users have physical access. It is too easy for them to impersonate another user. Use SMB in such a scenario.
So...
Thank you very much, I opend a report:
https://bugzilla.proxmox.com/show_bug.cgi?id=8087
Currently using a single network for all the loopback addresses as a workaroud as I can chose addressing more freely in the lab.
* please share `pveversion -v`
* please check (and optionally share) the journal after booting when the system is sluggish for any errors (check if the errors were present when the system was not sluggish as well - then that's likely not the cause)
Setup: Apple Mac Pro 6,1 (late 2013 "trash can"), Proxmox VE 9.x installed directly on the internal SSD (no macOS), no UPS.
Goal: Power on automatically when AC returns, including after a manual shutdown.
Tried:
Booted a separate macOS SSD...
Here's something I don't quite understand. We use CephFS on every workstation to provide shared network storage. The workstations all run Debian 13 (kernel 6.12), though a few still run Debian 12 (kernel 6.1). How do I rotate this key? Can I even...
OK So just before I remove this, I would like to double check.......I have upgraded to V9, but need to upgrade to latest kernel etc, I still have systemd-boot installed, my boot drives are ZFS mirrored and efibootmgr shows
BootCurrent: 0005...
