Hi, everytime I create a LUN on my storage I need to find its WWID and then add to my multipath file, Is there a way to automatize this process ? just create a lun on storage and proxmox will find it and then just add the storage ?
I have an older color laser printer (Dell 1320C) that will only work up to Windows 7 so i created a Win7 VM and passed the USB thru to it. Lsusb shows the device and it is properly identified on the host. The Win7 VM does not appear to have the...
Frag doch mal eine KI deiner Wahl, was...
Looks like a network issue on pve07, since it lost all 6 peers in three seconds.
It's also worth checking the other nodes corosync logs around that time to confirm they only lost connection to node 7.
"Freezing" in this context means that the machine is not responding to either network traffic or the console.
I haven’t checked the physical layer yet. The node is connected via a network card with two ports to two different switches (MLAG)...
If the discussion is strictly on a "worth it" basis, its worth noting by what metric. Ram costs more then storage. Fast dedup is less hungry but thats still ~2G per deduplicated TB- although you could substitute a special device for SOME ram usage.
I’m planning to stay on PVE 8.4.x for the time being.
For those using PVE 8.4.x, would you recommend keeping the 6.14 kernel, or reverting to 6.8.x?
Are there any known stability or compatibility reasons to prefer 6.8.x on PVE 8.4.x?

Moving everything off of that SSD and rebuilding it with lvm-thin would allow snapshots. You could also enable the snapshot-as-volume-chain option to get snapshots in regular LVM, but you should read the documentation on that first, since there...
