Hello,
I've a 4 server cluster and on one server I've the already mentionend problem, that it does not boot anymore falling back to the grub rescue console.
Setup:
RPOOL - single disk offered by a RAID controller ( I know you should not use a Controller, reality thinks different sometimes )
RPOOL2 - 4 SSDs in a RAIDZ
I had a electricity shortage. All servers rebooted fine only the described one, falls back to the grub rescue console telling me "unkown filesystem".
The only solution I've found to get the system up again, is to use a usb key, copy RPOOL/ROOT/pve-1 onto that key and install grub on it.
I reconfigured grub in a chroot, I reconfigured grub after having booted from the usb key, No matter what I do, booting fails with "unkown filesystem".
So now I'm stucked with a system that won't easily reboot and I don't see any reason why, as all grub config steps are successfull.
Has anybody a hint how I could proceed?
Regards
