ZFS + grub auf allen Festplatten

Hallo,

mein Proxmox läuft auf 3 Festplatten, die vom Proxmox-Installer als ZFS Raid-Z1 konfiguriert sind.

Beim Suchen eines Festplattenfehlers habe ich bemerkt, dass der Bootvorgang aber nur mit einer Festplatte geht. Auch ein

grub-install /dev/sda
grub-install /dev/sdb
grub-install /dev/sdc

führt nicht dazu, dass ich von jeder Platte booten kann. Beim Bootvorgang wird grub gestartet, ich komme zu der grub-Eingabeoberfläche - das System bootet aber nicht vollständig.

Die Platten sind vom Proxmox-Installer so partitioniert:

Partition 1 does not start on physical sector boundary.
Partition 9 does not start on physical sector boundary.

Beim vollständigen Ausfall einer Platte wäre es supter, wenn das System - egal von welcher Platte - booten könnte.

Wie kann ich das bewerkstelligen?

fdisk zeigt mir die Option gar nicht an. Vermutlich weil er zfs nicht kennt.

Der Server läuft schon eine Zeit. Ich meine das war Proxmox VE 5.X.

Nein, das Bootsettings im Mainboard BIOS.

Ja, da kann ich alle 3 Platten auswählen.

Proxmox wird bei Auswahl der /dev/sdc sauber gebootet. Bei /dev/sda und /dev/sdb startet nur das Grub-Menü - aber nicht Debian/Proxmox.

Aber das installieren von Grub klappt bei dir fehlerfrei für alle 3 disks?

Da hatte ich nämlich beim Umstieg von PVE6 auf 7 Probleme und musste erst mit parted die Boot-Partitionen abändern.

Sieht so als ob du noch ohne UEFI und Proxmox Boottool fährst. Muss aber auch ohne dem funktionieren. Vor allem wenn man ältere Installationen hat.
