Hello Proxmox forms,

I have an old PC on which i virtualize Truenas and Windows 11.
I have a GTX 1050 Passed trough over pcie to the windows VM for gaming. But after an X amount of time gaming my screen freezes and audio glitches, and after 20 seconds or so i see the proxmox grub bootloader. Which is strange because i blacklisted the nvidia drivers so proxmox shouldn't use it.

The full specs of the system are,
I7-8700k | 32 GB ram | 512 GB NVME SSD |GTX 1050TI

I allocated virtual cores 16 GB ram and 320 GB SSD to the windows VM and the GTX 1050TI
The TrueNas VM has 4 virtual cores 12 GB ram and 32 GB SSD and a passed true sata controller with 4 x 4TB WD Red Plus

I had some other issues first but those where solved by keeping some ram not assigned to any VM.
What i found out after 30 minutes of gaming on the windows VM that my Truenas VM has shut down, i could not find it anywhere in the logs.
And 10 minutes after that my game froze, it happend 5 times in a row now, that the Windows VM is running the whole day fine doing some downloading of files to my TrueNas share, and in the night when i want to game after 30-50 minutes of gaming it crashes like stated above!

Anyone who has an idea how to solve this?
Kind Regards
Gijs
