Windows Server 2016 very slow in PVE

buy the SSD of your server brand.
My server is a Dell T610, from what I saw at Dell it would only have NVMe SSD.
If I remove the RAID and work normally, do you think the slowness would improve? Even with a Samsung SSD.
 
yes there is improvement in performance because writes will use cache of ssd.
but regression in safety because you loose data when OS or Power crash at the wrong moment. Like desktop system ....
Don't forget Windows disable its system drive write cache when AD Role is enabled, don't do RDS + AD as recommended.
