What mean "id" of Network tab LXC Container

Hi

I've been using OpenVZ containers so far.
I migrated to LXC, but I've seen a field called "ID" when you create a machine on the network tab appears. inet0 appear, Inet1 ... etc

I can put the same ID to several machines.

What function does exactly that ID?

The ID is the 'unique' name of the Conatianer (integer number) - same concept in OpenVZ and our LXC implementation.

That is just an internal identifier. Nothing you can or need to edit.

OH, I see we still have this selectable when you create a container on the GUI. Just choose any of the available IDs.

I will discuss with our developers if we should remove the ID from the GUI - maybe it is just confusing.
