What is the best staorage connection ?

Hello, i'm testing a small cluster:
2 storage server:
both 2SSD Zraid1 Freenas 10GEth Active/Passive
3 Proxmox last ver. Frontend server

What is the best way to connect Storage ? ( ZFS over iSCSI, NFS ... )

Is Freenas a good choice or have i a better alternative ?

best with respect to what? Please precise.

If you want features, use ZFS-over-iSCSI because you can do snapshots. I'd recommend to have also jumbo pages enabled to better throughput.
