I removed my GPU from my proxmox server and now web interface is not showing up and the server doesn't appear online at all now. When i plug in my display to the onboard graphics the proxmox terminal shows and I can type in commands. How can I fix this?

The interface names will change when adding/removing PCIe devices, so you old network config won't fit the new interface names anymore.
Check what your NICs are called now using ip addr. Then edit your network config file with nano /etc/network/interfaces (CTRL+X to save and exit), replace the old NIC names with the new ones and restart networking with systemctl restart networking. If you changed the right NIC names your webUI should work again.

Sorry I’m very new to this, and am confused on what to change, should I change the enp5s0 to the enp4s0?

I've run into this same problem, but I don't have a motherbaord with integrated graphics. I can't enter the console once the gpu is out(no video port) so I'm wondering if I can predict what the network card will be called once the gpu is removed? It's enp2s0 right now, am I correct in assuming without the gpu it would be enp1s0?

Gave it a shot and this worked
