VMs/Guest Hosts cannot access the internet ( 2021 )

So I have this set up:





I can ping other VMS on the same network but cannot access the internet. a few days ago I could when I set up a VM bride for testing purposes but now I cannot

I do think it is due to some routing issues any input would be recommended I do not know too much about iptables and have read tons of documentation on proxmox so please do not refer me to docs or tell me to RFTM cuz I have lol. unless it is a full solution to this specific problem


I do not have a DHCP server so I do manually set the IP addresses as well via ``sudo ifconfig <dev> 10.32.0.5/24``


this setup is on a Dell Optiplex with 32GB ram 2TBHDD one single nic as you can see in the set up up top plugged directly into my router

in your router, do you have add routes like "10.32.0.0/24 gw 192.168.0.1" && "10.20.0.0/24 gw 192.168.0.1"?

go home, rethink your life, nah JKJK we fixed the issue it was really long and was something crazy lol I will post the update soon btw
