I need to allow user to access the console of VM. I have used VM.Console permission but it is not showing VM after user logins to proxmox. However if I add VM.audit automatically it is possible. Why VM.Audit Permission needs to be added. Can anyone explain what is the least permission required to access the VM

2. I also want to now how to force a user accessing VM to go directly into View only mode

The least permissions you can do this with are VM.audit and VM.console. If VM.audit is removed, the VM will be hidden from the user and if VM.console is removed, the user will not be able to access the console.

To my knowledge, this option does not currently exist.
