Dear Support,
I would like to know more about the algorithm which is used by proxmox to migrate the VMs from the host which is rebooting. The shutdown policy is set to migrate and the pve version is: pve-manager/7.0-11/63d82f4e (running kernel: 5.11.22-5-pve).
We tested the cluster with 4 node and restarted on of the them. This node ran with 20 VMs but the others ran with 2 VMs each node. Before the restart proxmox migrated all VMs to an other node and did not do any load-balancing between the three node.
There is one Cluster group which contains all node with the same priority. Should not do balancing the VMs between the remained nodes? Or how does it work exactly? Is there any best practice how to configure to make load-balance? Thank you in advance!
Best Regards,
Viktor
