I know hardware SAN / iSCSI acceleration functions from vSphere Storage APIs Array Integration and a lot of SAN devices directly support it.

So far I haven't found any information in the Proxmox documentation.

Does Proxmox Support these array hardware acceleration functions as well?

No I am talking about acceleration on the SAN / iSCSI target side (e.g. VAAI).

VAAI is released under a proprietary license for VmWare only so this will never come to Proxmox.

Hi, yes know it is proprietary but are thereother APIs for hardware acceleration on the SAN side (e.g. ODX). Is there also an API for Open Source iSCSI access hardware acceleration? Just wondering because at the moment it looks like there is no way to pushing cpu intensive tasks to the SAN?
