Hi,
im trying to pass trough USB ports of the host system to my VMs. I Want them to be device and hub agnostic.
I would prefer to add mappings for those ports before hand. All i can find is the usb port mapping option but it seems (other than the shell command) also depend on the plugged in device id at the time of adding the mapping.
In addition to that only ports with devices plugged into are shown.
USB Hubs are also taken into account.
In other words: Proxmox is to intelligent for my use case?
P.S. sadly ive not enough USB root complexes to use pcie passtrough.
Bonus question:
Whats the best way to map usb ports to pcie IDs?
Greetings
