I've been running Proxmox as my workstation OS at the office for years. Since the pandemic I've been working from home where I've always been using (X)Ubuntu. Recently reinstalled and went up to 22.04 Now I wanted to spin up some VMs and wanted to get bridged networking for that. What a pain in the a**, between Network Manager, netplan etc
I'm this close to nuking Ubuntu on my home machine now too and switching to Proxmox there. Virt Manager sucks balls too.
The only thing stopping me: USB passthrough. Does this work under Proxmox? I've been using it under QEMU configured by Virt Manager and under Virtual Box on macOS in order to run Windows to talk with a piece of hardware that only has Windows software for it.
