I know there have been several posts on the topic but I can't find one that helps resolve my issue so figured I'd ask.
I have a new USB backup drive which is an external enclosure with 2x 8TB Seagate drives in a RAID0, so total of 16TB. It shows up as a device in lsusb and generates a device name and serial number but won't show up in fdisk or lsblk so I cannot mount it. The drive works fine when connected to my Windows and other Linux box. Thoughts? Here's my syslog timeframe for when it was recently connected...maybe I'm not seeing something. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I don't know this Disk enclosure.
But I think it uses as the most other enclosures MD-Raid for the Raid functionality.
Proxmox VE does not support MD-Raid.
You can install it.

Hi there thanks for the reply. It's a pretty generic USB enclosure with a physical RAID switch, its own power supply and USB 3.0, both HDDs inside are Seagate. Unfortunately installing MD-RAID did not help. Any other suggestions?

Hi again...any other suggestions? My team wants to purchase the subscription but we want to ensure our backup drive solution works first...
Thank you
