Hi there,

We've been migrating away from our ESXI cluster to Proxmox, and it has been great so far, but I am still wondering about the memory saving features such as KSM and ballooning.

  1. Are KSM and Ballooning both enabled at the same time once the 80% limit has been reached?
  2. Will KSM / Ballooning every get "Undone" once the memory drops bellow a certain threshold?
  3. How does ballooning work if it is enabled ("Ballooning Device" checked in VM options) but both "Memory" and "Minimum memory" are both set to the same value? This seems to be the default when creating a VM.
Thanks in advance.
