Two-Factor Authentication not working

Hello,

i followed the wiki about activating the two factor auth.

I have a user@pve tfa is enabled for this realm.

On the terminal i entered

oathkeygen

and added the key to the user in proxmox.

In google authenticator i added a new acc using the same key as used before.

When i try to login it says "Login failed. Please try again."

Any help is much appreciated

on what realm you are pam or pve?

Is you time on the smartphone and the Server in sync?

make sure that both your node and your phone have the correct time (each OTP is valid for 30 seconds, and only the current 30 second window and the one before and after are accepted when logging in)

I was just wondering cause it worked over ssh login.
