Hi
Because of a problem with my system disk, I started from scratch with the OS.
OS and vm's are on a SSD, configured as a rpool.
So far, everything is working since I had backups from the vm's.
I have a HDD (zpool) with data which previously was visible in the host and I passed it on to a container with Samba.
Now I'm struggling to get this working again and my lack of knowledge about ZFS doesn't help.
I managed to add the disk to the host and I can list the contents.
Is this the (right) way to go: first assign the HDD in the host and then pass on to a vm?
If not: what are the (dis)advantages for either way?
Thanks a lot for any help!
Peter
