Even this was already discussed in the forum, i'm opening a new thread because i didn't find a solution.
We are in the process of setting up a small cluster (3/4 nodes), with no HA requirements. To each of this nodes the same SAN LUN is presented. The problem is: how we format and share the LUN across all the nodes?
Proxmox's way is to use LVM, but for us is not an option because snapshots are essential. We tried to come up with some hybrid solutions (for example: a small VG formatted with ext4 and mounted by only one node where we can snapshot, and another big VG shared across the nodes) but all of them have drawbacks.
Even if is not very supported in Proxmox: any success story on using GFS2?
Any input is very welcome!
