Hello, all.

Is it possible for a local user to log in to the Proxmox console and be attached to a windows guest GUI? Even if they have to log into linux and have that connection automatically connect to the windows os, that'd be a huge win.

My users don't know the first thing about linux, and most of the containers are running linux. We have to have a windows instance around for some older required applications. I'd rather not bring in a separate windows machine just to accomplish this.

How does one usually access a Windows guest host that is running under a linux version of Proxmox?

Still quite unsure what you try to accomplish here. A lot of mixups of terms like e.g. 'guest host' and what is a linux version of Proxmox?

You can, however, run Windows 10 Enterprise (licensewise only this edition) inside of a KVM VM (not container) and attach via the console button to it. This has no Linux console magic involved and is totally workable via web browser. Everyone can do this.

Install a Windows VM and connect via RDP to that from any machine that you need to.
