Restore Failures

The problem is "restore failed: blob too small (0 bytes)." when trying to restore VM. I have resolved it as did not need to rely on the backup. But more of a worry is that I had this issue before see my post in 2022. I need to sort out the verification tasks. It would make sense if there was a verify after backup option but I cant find it.
 
there is, but it is usually better to do verification on a schedule to reduce the load.. it sounds like your datastore storage is broken if it regularly loses or corrupts contents..
 
Thanks for reply. Its hw raid ext4 so should be ok. It is only for me as single developer. Ill run verify but it takes a long time as not done it for a while.
