I am writing to request a feature enhancement to the web interface's built-in backup utility. As it stands, the utility allows for deletion of one backup at a time, which can be time-consuming when managing large numbers of backups. Furthermore, the current design does not maintain scroll position after each deletion, requiring users to re-navigate to the desired location in the backup list after every single deletion, which is particularly problematic when dealing with backups at the end of a long list.
I propose the addition of multi-select functionality for deletion. This could be achieved in several common ways:
These features would greatly improve the efficiency and usability of the backup utility, making backup management faster and easier. I believe many users would benefit from this functionality, and I hope you'll consider implementing it.
Thank you for considering this request.
I propose the addition of multi-select functionality for deletion. This could be achieved in several common ways:
- Control-click (Ctrl+Click): This would allow users to select multiple non-consecutive backups for deletion by holding down the control key and clicking on each desired backup.
- Shift and Arrow Keys: This would enable users to select multiple consecutive backups for deletion by holding down the shift key and using the up or down arrow keys to extend the selection range.
These features would greatly improve the efficiency and usability of the backup utility, making backup management faster and easier. I believe many users would benefit from this functionality, and I hope you'll consider implementing it.
