When will Proxmox 1.4 be released, and what new features can we expect?

Just a reasonable approximation, I don't need to know the exact day, but if you can tell me the week it will come out, I'd appreciate it.

no big changes for the next weeks.

currently we work on the new data store management, means you can use several storage locations for your VM´s. in the first run (iscsi, nfs, additional local storage).

End of August or September? I would like to try the new storage model if possible, as i plan to build a cluster based around DRBD...

the earliest plan was August, there is some delay but not that much - keep connected.

Hi Tom,

In that Case I won't bother you with an issue that pops up when using NFS for the /var/lib/vz in cluster mode (division by zero error).

If NFS will be officially supported in near future I can wait...

Keep up the great work!

Management is pushing us towards XenServer5's free offering. We dread the task of converting 30 VMs. iSCSi storage is the reason.

Any new target dates for iSCSI Storage?

1.4 beta, hopefully in a few days (including iSCSI for KVM guests)

Excuse my ignorance but is there any chance of using AoE? Is this an option?

K.

AoE is supported in the Kernel since a long time, and we plan to add this also on the web. iSCSI and NFS are just the first two shared storage types.

Hi,
i'm right, that FC (usable for LVM-extension from the shell also since a long time) supported from the Web-frontend in 2.0?
Only to be sure, because the many post about iSCSI.

You need to create an LVM VG on the FC device. After that you can use the web interface to manage the FC storage (lvm volume group).

We are looking to implement virtualisation with 2 servers connected to a storage array (Dell MD3000) with redundant SAS HBAs.

Is it correct to say that:
1) this upcoming beta will have built-in support for this configuration without the redundant connections
2) we should be able to get the redundant connections by using the command-line to install and configure multipath-tools from the Debian repos?
