Good morning !
Kinda new to Proxmox, i'm an IT admin working on this beautiful solution to avoid using VMware.

I've deployed some servers for now, standalone and all with RAID card (mostly DELL server).

I have a T130 at home with a H330 RAID card, at first, I had 2 x 2To HDD in RAID1 for standard storage) and upgrade to 2 X 4To.
The RAID expand worked perfectly, it now finds me in the disk section the 4To RAID size.

But it's still 2To size on the LVM-Thin :

I find solutions to expand the size of the LVM-Thin to use all capacity avaliable, but it's not told if datas are lost or not.
BTW I have backups, so if datas are lost, it's just a big filer VM to restore, it will take a week-end and not a big deal, just need to plan it (wife & kids won't be happy if not planned ...).

Found this to help me : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ntPaLcf1eQ just don't understand how to calculate the metadata size expand (+3GB ?) in this case.

Thanks for your help !
Regards,
DinDon

Hi @dindon_tv , welcome to the forum.

If the steps are executed properly, you should not loose the data.

There are many threads on the forum about this, for example:
