Hi,
due to the Issue in
https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/i...5-39-1-pve-bug-soft-lockup-inside-vms.113373/ (two new AMD-Hosts are not realy usable!)
I would switch the Async IO to native as default (hope it's help). But the man page of datacenter.cfg don't show such an switch. Is the default on an different location configurable?
I will upgrade the hosts this evening with Ram (to 512GB), after that they _must_ run stable, and I'm worry about updating the other cluster nodes (because we have many AMD-Hosts with zfs-mirror on NVMe).
Unfortunality I'm not able to reproduce the issue with stress or any other tools. But looks that production VMs, which uses swap, produce the issue… hope that aio=native help.
Udo
