I have setup a new server and after everything ready, I've shutdown the server, carry it to datacenter and put it in the rack and turned on.

When I look at the pveversion command I see this. is this a problem? What should I do ? What went wrong? I've just changed ip's, when I first setup I've used local ip's to test localy and changed them to my public ip's when I carry the server.

server0:~# pveversion -v
pve-manager: not correctly installed (pve-manager/1.7/5470)
running kernel: 2.6.32-4-pve
qemu-server: not correctly installed
pve-firmware: not correctly installed
libpve-storage-perl: not correctly installed
vncterm: not correctly installed
vzctl: not correctly installed
vzdump: not correctly installed
vzprocps: not correctly installed
vzquota: not correctly installed

the server running very light loaded guest servers. one ubuntu 10.04 openvz container and 2 windows 2003 server and one windows 2000 server. The windows 2000 server is migrated from vmware-server and it's temporary, now runs everthing but after I carry all the services to other windows 2003 servers it'll be removed.

Now, with the current load there seems no problems. But once or twice one of the windows guests stopped. I've started it from the web interface but I think I should look for errors.

I'm using bridged ethernet, two nics, one internet side and one is for trusted internal connections between guest servers. I've used e1000 on windows and venet on container.

Looks OK, and what is the output of:

# dpkg-query --show -f '${PACKAGE} ${VERSION} ${STATUS}\n'

Please send it send directly to me <dietmar@proxmox.com>

Thank you for your attention.

I've send the output by email.

Code:
 :~# dpkg-query --show -f '${PACKAGE} ${VERSION} ${STATUS}\n'
  adduser install ok installed
  apache2 install ok installed
That output contain no version field - strange. Try to run

# aptitude update

The output should look like:

Code:
...
adduser 3.110 install ok installed
alacarte 0.11.5-1 install ok installed
alsa-base 1.0.17.dfsg-4 install ok installed
...

here is the results of aptitude update and aptitude safe-upgrade :

My system locale is set to Turkish, maybe that is the problem. How can I change the locale?

Hi,
have you tried
Code:
dpkg-reconfigure locales

Udo

Yes.
afters I see that export LANG=C command solves my problem, I googled for how to change the default locale and use the
dpkg-reconfigure locales command to change locale to us english.

how can I enable turkish keyboard on the server console? when I boot proxmox setup cd,
there are no turkish keyboard option, there are several other languages but no Turkish.
I think the keyboard settings coming from debian and debian has turkish keyboard setting but I do not know about debian that much.

Yes, I'm using ubuntu because I can not setup a debian system properly. :)
