pve cluster filesystem failed to load during startup

I am using proxmox over a debian os
with a constant error of failed startup
Your help would be appreciated

Hi,
to see the actual error message, try using journalctl -b0 -u pve-cluster.service. Please also provide the output of pveversion -v.

Please check your network configuration, /etc/hosts, which should have and entry like e.g.

192.168.20.242 pve702.enia.proxmox.com pve702
for the node itself, and /etc/hostname.

i did it but I am still encountering the same error during startup

Do you get the correct IP address if you use hostname --ip-address? Otherwise, please share the contents of the mentioned files and the output of ip a.

You rather want 192.168.0.105 as the output here. 127.0.1.1 is part of the loopback block so it's not connected to any network.

As an example, for me:

It's /etc/hosts. You can try to copy mine, and replace the second line with

oh i was editing /etc/host instead of /etc/hosts
