On a new PVE 7 installation with 7 containers only, I hooked up a PBS (v2) server and when the time came, PVE started backing up the CTs to the PBS server (as expected).
So far so good.
Since these CTs were migrated from a PVE 6 system a few hours before the backup I (stupidly?) run a "pct fstrim" on the CTs to release some unused disk space, while the 7th CT was about to finish its file transfers to the PBS server. My guess is that this process caused some re-calculation to the entire backup sequence because once the 7th CT was done moving its files to the PBS server (with a full "INFO: Backup job finished successfully" message), the entire backup process on the PVE server restarted!
I simply stopped the backup sequence after that, but something tells me that tomorrow's backup will take again hours to finish (and won't be incremental as expected).
Any hints?
Thank you.
