Found that the 5.2.1 ISO would only install from a real CD rom not an USB key as it attempted to mount root FS from /dev/sr0 or /dev/sr1 :/
and all block devices that are detected as removable as well, just like in previous isos.. that part hasn't changed in any way?

Hello,

I'm looking for the kernel source for 4.15.17-3-pve. The source on the git server git://git.proxmox.com/git/pve-kernel.git seems to be for the version 4.13.16-3-pve.

Thanks,

Victor

it's on the "pve-kernel-4.15" branch in the same repo (note that most Proxmox packages ship the exact git commit they were built from in one handy copy-pastable "git clone ..." command inside /usr/share/doc/PACKAGE/SOURCE).

Just reinstall same server using Proxmox 4.4-24, now Console to Win7 VM 3-5 times faster!
I assume you talk about the removed double mouse pointer in latest version. Its not faster or slower, its just not displaying the local mouse pointer anymore.

Just testing on Centos 7 KVM, the mouse pointer very slow compare to Promox 4. Even text typing also slow.

@tom : I suggest "noVNC setting button" displayed in the next version.

We are very excited to announce the general availability of Proxmox VE 5.2!
Martin:

We're anxious to install Proxmox but on our IBM BladeCenter we're having mouse issues over remote console KVM that prevents us from remotely getting through the first Agreement screen. We noticed that we can't use Tab and move focus from object to object to select any options and there is no text version either.

How can we be install PVE 5.2 without mouse available?

Regards,

Dennis
