Hi.
I have PVE 3.4 cluster with 15 nodes. I use Ceph hummer and NFS Shares.
Yesterday i install new node. I cant install ceph. I have erros.

Code:
# pveceph install -version hammer
download and import ceph repository keys
update available package list
Reading package lists...
Building dependency tree...
Reading state information...
Package ceph is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
  ceph-common

E: Package 'ceph' has no installation candidate
command 'apt-get -q --assume-yes --no-install-recommends -o 'Dpkg::Options::=--force-confnew' install -- ceph ceph-common gdisk' failed: exit code 100
root@Node-012:~# pveceph install -version hammer
download and import ceph repository keys
update available package list

Looks like the ceph.com repo does not provide these packages for Debian Wheezy.

Debian Wheezy is out of support anyways, so you should start planning the upgrade.

Hi,

Pls anyone can let me know the compatible ceph packages for proxmox 3.4
I am getting the following error while installing the ceph hammer,

Can your server access http://download.proxmox.com? Because the "connection failed" line indicates that there is a fundamental problem of accessing the repository server.

So check if DNS and overall connectivity is working as expected.

ping is not http access, please check from your PVE box:

Code:
curl http://download.proxmox.com/

If that does not work, try to fix it.

deb is not a command but that line defines the repository.

Why run curl with an IP address? Please point it to the actual FQDN: curl http://download.proxmox.com? Does that work?
