Re: network not configured when installing to wheezy

the wiki page tells you that already. read again.

I could not figure out exactly where it states that the bridge network should be configured manually. However, it does make sense, if it has been added that, the bridge device can be created as follows without vlans or nat:

#auto eth0
#iface eth0 inet dhcp

auto vmbr0
iface vmbr0 inet static
address 192.168.122.2
netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.122.1
dns_nameservers 192.168.122.1 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4
bridge_ports eth0
bridge_stp off
bridge_fd 0

Or point to your wiki at http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Network_Model for further understanding of network.

It did not describe the changes needed in /etc/sysctl.conf as follows:

net.ipv4.conf.all.rp_filter=1
net.ipv4.icmp_echo_ignore_broadcasts=1
net.ipv4.conf.default.forwarding=1
net.ipv4.conf.default.proxy_arp = 0
net.ipv4.ip_forward=1 kernel.sysrq = 1
net.ipv4.conf.default.send_redirects = 1
net.ipv4.conf.all.send_redirects = 0
net.ipv4.conf.eth0.proxy_arp=1

And the changes needed in /etc/vz/vz.conf to

NEIGHBOUR_DEVS=all

Thanks!

Did that - seems issue is iscsi '/usr/bin/iscsiadm --mode session' failed: exit code 21

- - - Updated - - -

When you go to the IP you have to manually push it to 8006 ... but anyway more importantly the iscsi wont work ...

Same problem here with iscsi.
After connecting to one iscsi with " iscsiadm -m node --portal X.X.X.X:3260 -T "iqn.XXX-XX.com.equallogic:0-????????????????????????-XXXX" -l ", all iscsi targets work well.

okay it looks like that i have also only chrome problems here:

Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data

its working now in internet explorer well on
https://IP:8006/#v1:0:18:4::::::

only chrome stucks here (current version)

I'm using Firefox 20.0 on Ubuntu 13.04 and yes I'm using https and specify port 8006 eg. https://192.168.x.x:8006

BTW when I tried to access with plain URL without port it's not redirect to port 8006 like version 2.3 did before

works here, clear all browser caches, reload page.

we will add 3.0 here as soon as it is stable.

Forum: we will rename the forum to "Proxmox VE: Installation and configuration"

Hi, can´t connect to my iscsi storage. Syslog shows me:
Code:
 May 10 16:12:12 proxmox pvestatd[2949]: WARNING: command '/usr/bin/iscsiadm --mode session' failed: exit code 21
Tested on two different iscsi storages and two different proxmox test servers. Both migratet from 2.3 > 3.0 Valle
