not really, the 2.6.32-4 is based on Squeeze, the 2.6.32-6 is based on RHEL61.
Is the Adaptec driver different between the two kernels that handles our 2610SA controller?

You use a standard PVE install, or did you modify something? (scheduler options, filesystem mount options)?
We use a standard PVE install, but the scheduler is set to deadline as CFQ was not performing well under load (we checked it with an earlier 2.6.32 kernel).
