Hi

I have a Proxmox 8.3 installed dedicated server. I have created two VMs with ALmalinux 9 installed on them. I have set of 13 usable IPs on my dedicated server.
I can use the first VM with different IPs but second VM doesnt work with any IP. Both VMs are identical in every way, as they both have Almalinux 9 as OS and no other software or configuration running on them. So, the issue must be with the bridging of the Proxmox.

Hence, my first VM works regardless of which IP I set it up on but the second VM doesn't work with ANY of the IPs to connect to internet. Settings are exactly identical in every way.

Any comments would be appreciated if you have any idea.
Regards and thank you again for your assistance. My Server Provider doesn't also know the answer.

Hi
Naturally MAC addresses are different as far as I can see.
Please see the output of cat /etc/network/interfaces“ and „ip address show“ attached
Hope it helps as I am out of ideas

Ok the problem got solved by deleting the VMs and recreating them with the same settings, must be a Proxmox bug. thx for the assistance.
