Kinda new to Proxmox. Has anyone been able to get Proxmox up and running and storage configured on a Dell Precision 7820? I can get the OS installed with no problem, but the storage is my issue. I can't seem to get Proxmox to see my Intel VROC Raid 5 drive and if I try to use the drives individually with ZFS it tells me:

Note: ZFS is not compatible with disks backed by a hardware RAID controller. For details see the reference documentation.

Any guidance would be welcome. Thanks!

That warning is always there and does not detect if the disks are in a RAID.

The Intel VROC is most likely a fake-raid where the BIOS lets the OS know about the config, and it is then up to the OS to setup a software RAID. Remove the VROC config and then create the ZFS pool. If you want to store VMs on it, please stick to mirrored vdevs (RAID1, RAID10). For more details: https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/chapter-sysadmin.html#sysadmin_zfs_raid_considerations
