Question: During upgrade config files get changed and I'm asked if I want to keep the current or switch to the maintainer version. I checked all configs (old and new versions) and it's normally quite clear which settings can be changed and which one should be left untouched.
One exception: The Clamav config files (freshclam and clamd) have a big difference between old and new. For now I left the old ones.
Any suggestions? Should I try and merge old and new, is it safe to take the new ones (maybe better security, etc...)?

Hi,

E: The repository 'https://enterprise.proxmox.com/debian/pmg buster Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.

I replaced stretch with buster in the sources.list and the pmg file in sources.list.d. I also have a valid subscription. Thank you for the help.

Hi,

Hi

Is there a document for version 6? Thanks.

Jacky

First note that Proxmox Mailgateway in version 6 is not yet released, thus not all repositories are yet available.
If you want to test 6.0 or the upgrade to it you need to add the "pmgtest" repository:

Code:
# echo "deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian/pmg stretch pmgtest" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pmg-test.list

You can comment out the line in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pmg-enterprise.list for now, but the error is harmless.

Thank you Thomas. Everything worked out ok after Promox support said it is not released and uses the test repo.
