Hi,

We want to delete our old node from proxmox cluster.
The problem is, proxmox GUI is showing the old node in datacenter, but pvecm nodes does not list it.

How can we get rid of the old node in such a situation?

But still in proxmox GUI I can see node cs-p

That is not existing.
Additionally, when we have disabled 1 machine, our quorum failed apart, because there were allegedly only 2 nodes from all for (but commands show 3 nodes in cluster).
Additionally, HA in gui shows this node in HA with note: (old timestamp - dead?)

Not sure how to tackle this problem - any solutions?

Hi,

Thanks for the information

Not sure how to tackle this problem - any solutions?

Sometime files stuck in path /etc/pve/nodes/ so if you really deleted and dont need old node, see in this path /etc/pve/nodes/ if name cs-p exist is just delete it and try refresh GUI.

Hope that help :)

@Moayad - Despite this note not being listed, when I shut off one other node, the quorum broke off.

Will removing node from /etc/pve/nodes/ resolve this?

Hi,

Despite this note not being listed, when I shut off one other node, the quorum broke off.
Open new thread if you have new issue, but first try to resolve the old issue.

Will removing node from /etc/pve/nodes/ resolve this?
Try that, as i said check if the old name of old node cs-p still exist in this path /etc/pve/node if yes - delete or move to another file then refresh your Proxmox GUI.

Hope that helps :)

@Moayad The node has disappeared from GUI, but it is still visible in HA tab with description: unable to read lrm status

However in HA tab I don't have my newest node that is cs-m

Please post output of:
Code:
