Hello All,
I need to create platform with some dockers with critical data and service ,
The platform i have is 3 servers with 6 x 2tb ssd and have 4x10Gbit connection each server
My thought was creating hyper converged Proxmox with Ceph and create small size vm and mound the docker data on NFS mount ,and all off course on Ceph storage , init a docker swarm and in such case can attach reattach easily the mount on other vm and also more easy to backup
So my question is such scenario doable with Proxmox Ceph , and how can i mount nfs share on Ceph storage ?
Please advice
Thanks

You can't mount NFS in CEPH. You can only mount NFS and CEPH in a VM or the HV. But you can also run an NFS VM with a CEPH underneath. But not the other way around.

You Can definitely mount any NFS share and CephFS to an LXC. In my case, I have an NFS running (not on PVE). The LCX references and mounts the remote NFS share. The CephFS share points are passed down from the PVE node unto whichever LXC needing to connect to it.
