Proxmox 5.1 Snapshots, file location and rollback.

Hi all
Happy New Year to everyone.
When we do a Snapshot it is held on the same drive as the VM is located.
Is there a way to View a previous rollback date without actually rolling back.
IE. we just want to recover a couple of files from a previous day??
And
What happens with Snapshots in our nightly backup??

Yes you can access the snapshot. The easiest way is to make a full clone of it.
The other ways are depending on the used storage and file format.

What happens with Snapshots in our nightly backup??

We do not backup snapshots.
