PBS disk safe not releasing

Hi,

Recently, one of the backup server disk usage reached 100%, we tried to remove many backups from the server, but none seems affected, and it still stands at 100% usage, we removed the backup from the GUI, is there anything we need to do from terminal to release the space, or what can cause this issue?

removing the backups will not free much space, you must run a garbage collection afterwards (note that it takes 24h + 5min after deletion for the unnecessary chunks to be deleted, see https://pbs.proxmox.com/docs/backup-client.html#garbage-collection )
