Yes, as I wrote before your problem is that omnios does not consider the user root on your proxmox to be allowed to act as the user root on omnios. Maybe something has been messed up on your omnios with all those changing owner and permissions on folders which needs a reboot. So you could try rebooting omnios but remember to close everything down on our proxmox servers which relies on an active omnios before you do it.
Before you reboot you should drop these lines in /etc/hosts:
127.0.0.1 omnitest
127.0.0.1 omnitest
127.0.0.1 omnitest
127.0.0.1 omnitest
127.0.0.1 omnitest
127.0.0.1 omnitest
127.0.0.1 omnitest
127.0.0.1 omnitest
