OpenVPN Issues

Hi i have been trying to get openvpn to work with my PIA subscription but i keep hitting dead ends.

I essentially get the following error message on all the different ways i have tried this.

I did make a mistake which worked first time and that was when i thought i was in the container but i was in the pve shell and it just worked, i have removed everything now and everything is working fine with the rest of my setup.

My Container config has been updated ( its been done in a privilaged container )

at the end

so i am assuming the command has changed for v7?

i have tried
Debian 9
Debian 10
Ubuntu 18
Ubuntu 20

and its always the same error but when i accidentally put all the commands into the PVE shell it worked no issues it also works inside a VM without issue i just cannot get the container to work with PIA on Open VPN. firs heart attack when i realised i did it on the main pve but thankfully it purged fine and removed all the scripts.

Solved.

just installed OPEN VPN on the PVE host and it works in unprivilaged container on features enable device on the ct options.

VPN basic gateway in 35mb
