[SOLVED] Not working: pvecm expected

Hi,

I have 2 nodes in a cluster (i know it is not recommend...) and need to set the expected value from 2 to 1:

"pvecm expected 1"

But after i get still this output:

Expected votes: 2
Highest expected: 2
Total votes: 2
Quorum: 2
Flags: Quorate


I want to achieve to have one node still online with their VM if the other goes down - for this i need to set expected to "1"?

You need a minimum of 3 nodes for HA.

I don´t want HA, just the cluster to allow one node proceed running while one can go off for some maintenance.

I tought i can do this with decreasing the expected votes?

Ok,. Then you can set expected votes to 1, but you need to make sure that the other node is down (else you will run into a split brain...)
