Hi Everyone,
I created a VM1 with two scsi hard disks (scsi0 and scsi1). It crashed for some reason then I created another vm2 and assigned the vm1-scsi1 disk to vm 2. After that I was able to access all the data present in vm1-scsi1 through vm2. But then I deleted the VM1 and now when I try to start the VM2 I get the following message.
No such logical volume pve/vm-998-disk-2 at /usr/share/perl5/PVE/Storage/LvmThinPlugin.pm line 219.
Can anyone help me how can I start my vm and access all the data in the disk?
Thanks

sharing volumes in this way is not supported but there no bumpers in place to prevent what you did.
By deleting VM1 you have also removed any disks it was referencing, so now you need to adjust your VM2 config.
First examine it with "qm config VM2id"
Then delete the offending device "qm vm2id set --delete devicename"
