network card not getting detected after bios firmware update need help

Hi Guys,

I am using Proxmox on my live environment and we had to update all the bios firmware and network firmware of all our blade server.Hence I updated the same and then realized that my network card in proxmox server is not getting detected.I have lot of vm running on this server.The version of proxmox I am using is v1.1.I know it is very old need to be updated .Now I need to solve this issue .Is there a way out.please guys need your help on this.The blade server what I am using is a HS21 blade server with 32GB.how take a backup or run a repair without disturbing the vms present on this server or restore the network drivers

The packages directory on the CD is /proxmox/packages. I guess it should be possible to mount the CD and add the directory to /etc/apt/sources.list (see 'man sources.list')

The update did not work. Please advise me on how to do a os repair since the bios version rollback ddid not work.The cd did not work because of the dependencies

i think you add a space a the end of the path?

proxmox/packages/ console-common 0.7.80

Without the leading space at the packetname it should work.

fastest would be a re-installation from iso and a restore of the guests. is this an option for you?

You already removed the space in your sources.list? It is hard to debug if you do not provide any feedback.

The is no way to do a repair by booting the cd and run linux rescue similar to redhat
