Mail after a Backup

Hi,

I'd like to receive an email when a backup ends with an error.

I'd like to use my SMTP server to send an e-mail.

How can I configure the mail (legacy) so that it uses my SMTP server.

To connect to my SMTP server I need
domain xxx.example.be
port 465 TLS
user: XXXX
pswd: XXXX

Otherwise, there is a way to use notification system but only when the backup failed ?

Yes there is.
Check the options by creating a backup job in "Datacenter \ Backups" :
"Send email on failure only".

Hi,

I already try to select On failure only. But My email (legacy) is not correctly setup to use my SMTP server.

And for notification system. This option disappears.

Configure postfix, on the PVE host, to send mail via your SMTP server. `dpkg-reconfigure postfix`.
