LXC hostname formats incorrect

why is proxmox incorrectly putting hostnames as shortname fullname in /etc/hosts? The proper format is:

ip full_hostname short_hostname

not the opposite. Seems to get reset on every reboot, which is even more frustrating.

So you have it fixed in newer versions? That's the only way the version would be relevant. Let me get that info for you though anyway.

My apologies, I didn't see that you had already fixed it. I just updated my system a little before your post and hadnt tested it again. Thanks!

Hi all,

I've got the same problem, running the same version as above and still remains the same problem on Debian LXC template.
Is there a workaround on this?

I'm surprised that nobody else got the same issue. It is there for a long time. Would anyone from Proxmox team give us a brief answer if this can be fixed soon or not?
