I have a follow up questions but to start lxc containers is basically just an extension of the host/ server. Right?
im trying to understand this i dont know why i can not just install an application in a container but if i use a helper script i have less issues.
main one im working on is handbreak my helper script has it running good except i dont know how to get my files in and out of it. i have gotten an cifs share mounted but still can not see it in handbreak cli.
now when i try to install handbreak in debian12 lxc i can not updaate anything or install anything
your are free to pick any one of these to help me get thru this.
i think that lxc seems more direct control and docker has kind of its own "kernel" being in the middle of all this.
Thank you.
