Hi,

I'm trying to create a ceph pool using the GUI and get the following error:

Parameter verification failed. (400)

crush_ruleset: property is not defined in schema and the schema does not allow additional properties

Any suggestions as to what the problem is would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

looks like you have some old packages, upgrade to latest.

if you cannot fix it, post your:

> pveversion -v

Did you restart all Ceph monitors and all OSDs after the Ceph package upgrades (step by step)?

What is your:

Can I just add a pool using ceph command directly or does that break the integration?

something seems already broken, so you need to find the reason before you proceed.

I tried it any way from the command line and it apparently worked fine. I can also now see it in the GUI.

you probably had an outdated version of the GUI cached in your browser.
